The price you see is per room per night for one or two persons and the price you pay - Period. We do this to make it easier for you to compare prices right from the start. Be alert to lower prices that do not include this mandatory 21%, require a minimum number of nights or a rate for single occupancy as a lead-in. Be advised that quoted rates sometimes change without notice.

By the way, judging by number of competitors that copy information from our paradise-bali.com - we must be the authority on hotels in Bali - no other site is copied so much. Bali Hotels Update Hotel of the Week

Important: Be advised that the long delayed changes to the free visa upon arrival were finally implemented on 01 February 2004. Briefly put, with the exception of 11 countries, visitors to Indonesia now need to pay and apply for a visa to enter the country. For more info, click here.

How time flies, it's already April and the new visa policy is now in effect. Whilst it's unclear how this will ultimately affect tourist arrivals it's hard to imagine that it will be positive - at least in the short term. What does this mean to you? Hotels that were planning to increase room rates early on are putting those plans on hold through June and waiting to see the market's reaction to the new rules and regulations. As such for those planning to visit in the first half of the year can find some great holiday values (and don't forget, if you are planning a break at Easter best to book early - no matter what, Bali will very crowded Easter weekend (9-11 April).
