have stayed at the Lokha about 4 times now, I love it! Its very centrally located in Legian, on a well lit road which as a single female traveller is very important. The rooms are large, the airconditioning works really well, and the facilities provided are great - especially the in-room safe and tea/coffee making. The pool area is great, I have never not been able to secure a sunlounge, and the pool towels are constantly being replenished. The Lokha is my home away from home, I thoroughly recommend it.

We like the Lokha - we have stayed there before. The location is good, facilities are good, but both times we stayed there we did try the restaurant and we were not very satisfied with the food. We would prefer to eat out of the hotel.We also think that the price is rather high for the standard of hotel.

This is the third time I have stayed in this hotel and it never dissapoints me.. It could do with a few more facilities like a gym etc and perhaps would give it more value for money. The staff are so friendly and the most of them are still working everytime I have returned which is a good sign. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone.

ENJOYED MY STAY AT THE LOKHA LEGIAN AND AM GOING TO RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO MY RELATIVES AND FRIENDS WHO INTEND TO VISIT BALI. YOUR LOCATION IS EXCELLENT AND HAS A VERY CLOSE PROMIMITY TO THE BEACH WHICH IS A VERY QUITE SPOT AND THE ANTIQUE SHOPS, RESTAURANT, BARS AND PUBS LINED DOWN THE STREE TO THE HOTEL GIVES IT A VERY LIVELY ATMOSPHERE DURING THE DAY AND NIGHT.

The front rooms on the road were quite noisy!

I was there when they had a serious electrical fire at 5 am that caused a lot of thick, black smoke. There was a complete power failure. I could not believe that they did not have a basic fire alarm bell or any emergency lighting. Security only yelled "get out get out" from the pool area. It was very lucky there weren't any serious injuries. No one even came to my room to knock on the door and see if anyone was inside. It took the fire dept over 30 minutes to get the first 2 vehicles there. It was 45 minutes for the 3rd and an hour for the fourth. It would seem Bali did not learn about proper emergncy response, from their previous problems. A really bad showing for a hotel fire. breakfast was acceptable, but could be improved. The retaurant and hotel staff was always very friendly and helpful. I like The Lokha and will stay again. I hope they take my comments as constructive and make improvements. Further comment: I received three phone call "invitations" for events and look at a condo, between 8 and 9 am. I don't know who leaked out my name and hotel info, but I did not appreciate being called and loosing sleep.

Great value small hotel located in the heart of Legian. It's a short walk to the beach but the hotel has a lovely pool ideal for lazy afternoons. The deluxe rooms have two queen beds and the room is a good size and ideal for friends sharing.

Our rooms is 205 along with street, so I felt noisy from street such as car horn etc. A/C performance is very useful.
