In addition to many colurful ceremonies and rituals taking place all around the island Bali will celebrate Nyepi - the Balinese New Year and a day of total and complete silence. As well the end of March Bali celebrates Galungan, the beginning of a ten day period that symbolises the triumph of Dharma (virtue) over Adharma (evil).

As well April is an important month with the celebration of Kuningan will brings the Galungan period to a close with ceremonies held for ancestoral spirits throughout Bali.
