Comments: Super 'soto ayam' (Indonesian chicken soup) that's almost a meal by itself.

Kafe Waru Bantan: Indonesian $$$
Comments:  Great mix of Indonesian and Western favourites in a relaxing atmosphere. Very good value for money. A great place to hang out and watch the world go by.

Comments: Still, after all the years, one of our favorites. A welcome respite in Kuta.

Comments: On the beach, exciting menu with the kitchen to back it up in a quiet and elegantly relaxed setting with a discreet yet always available staff. This is quickly becoming our favourite romantic restaurant.

Comments: There's a reason the place is a legend; good food, great atmosphere.

Comments: Authentic Tapas and Churrasqueria. The real deal for Spainish cuisine in Bali.

The Boardwalk Restaurant: Western $$
Comments: Suprisingly contemporary beach front restaurant with a delightful menu of soups, sandwiches and light main courses. Good size portions all nicely prepared at very reasonable prices.
