Welcome to Bali and thank you for visiting paradise-bali.com. October will be a busy month on Bali with a couple of interesting and fun events on tap. First up is the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival, an annual celebration of International and Asian literature held around the Ubud area from 05-09 October that takes visitors beyond Bali's glossy holiday scene with literary lunches and poetry readings etc. Then down south visitors can enjoy the 9th Annual Kuta Karnival, Light Up the World, a five day festival of art, culture, sport and exhibitions from all around Indonesia 14-16 October. And if that were not enough visitors can view and explore the world of Indonesia cinema at Balinale International Film Festival that gives Indonesian filmmakers an opportunity to present their work to a global audience while networking with international filmmakers (10-16 October).
