With April upon us and people pulling out maps and beginning
to plan their summer holidays be advised that advance
bookings for Bali hotels in July and August are already
running very high.
What does that mean to you? Quite a bit. First, we are
now seeing hotels raise their rates between 10 and 15
percent for this coming year. As well, if bookings stay
strong then hotels will be adding a 'high season' surcharge
for July and August. And lastly, the longer you wait
the more difficult it will be to get a flight.
That said, what should the budget conscious traveler
do? Book early and if possible visit early (if you can
visit before June you can still get a good deal at many
of Bali's most popular hotels). Again, thank you for
